Our Story

Founded by New Orleans healthy-hair specialist Ashanti Lation, LATION began as a a single salon in 2014, VIP HAIR CARE. In time it grew from years of hands-on client work and a commitment to helping people recover from hair and scalp challenges. That work shaped a curated line of professional-grade essentials, supported by education designed to deliver consistent results.

Over the years, Ashanti has become a world-class hairstylist trusted by many notable celebrities, while also raising two daughters. The same standards that guided the brand from day one still lead everything we create: premium formulas, proven routines, and a client-first experience.
